If you are travelling from the Newcastle or North Tyneside area, your best route is to follow signs for Newcastle Airport then stay on this road (A696) all the way to Otterburn where you will find signs for “Kielder Water and Forest Park”.
This is the straightest and easiest route to drive. Once you see the reservoir continue on the road (C200) until you come to Leaplish Waterside Park, where you will see an official brown tourist sign for the Birds of Prey Centre. Any other signs on other routes have nothing to do with Kielder Water Birds of Prey Centre.
